The vibrant spirit of athleticism and teamwork came alive during the Annual Sports Day held at Mar Ignathiose Noorono Public School. The event was a celebration of energy, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship, bringing together students, staff, and parents for a day of fun and friendly competition.
The day began with a grand march past by the four house teams — Ganga (Red), Kaveri (Blue), Periyar (White), and Yamuna (Green) — each displaying discipline and unity. The school Principal hoisted the Sports Flag, followed by the lighting of the torch and the oath-taking ceremony, setting the tone for the day’s events.
Track & Field Highlights
Students from all grades participated in various athletic events such as:
- 100m, 200m, and 400m sprints
- Relay races
- Long jump and high jump
- Sack race and lemon-spoon race for juniors
Each race brought cheers and encouragement from the audience, showcasing not just talent but determination and school spirit.
Teamwork & Fun

Winners were honored with medals, certificates, and trophies in a vibrant closing ceremony. The coveted Overall Championship Trophy was awarded to Kaveri House (Blue) for outstanding performance across events.
